The Edgard Group is the leading premium optical group in France.
Jean-François Porte and Julien Quesnel, both trained opticians, opened their first store in Tours in 2001 under their own brand, Edgard Opticiens. The Group employs 164 people and now has 15 stores under this brand and 8 stores under the Générale d’Optique franchise agreement.
Edgard Opticiens is asserting its social and societal commitments and will become, in September 2021, the first Mission Company in optical distribution in France.
